How often to you contemplate God’s holiness? Do you tend to take for granted our free access to him through Jesus? How can you combat this?
In what ways do you tend to form God in your own image rather than be confirmed to his?
In what ways do you substitute activity for God in place of intimacy? Does your time with the Lord feel more of a delight or a duty?
The man of God in this chapter rebukes Eli in his disobedience and unbelief. Have you ever had a time where the Lord has called you out in an area of your life through someone else? Who are those people in your life you have allowed to stand in those roles?
As Christ intercedes for us, so we intercede for one another. Spend some time praying for one another.
